The problem

The bug report your developers actually want.

Before

Checkout is broken, please fix

Tried to pay and it didn't work. Not sure what I did. Happens sometimes?

Dev: Which browser? Any error on screen?

Dev: Can you open the console and send a screenshot?

Dev: Still can't reproduce. Closing for now.

How it works

From bug to ticket in three steps.

  1. 01

    Install the extension

Add ReproClip to Chrome and sign in with Google or GitHub.

  2. 02

Record a video or take a screenshot

Record a tab, a window or your whole screen, up to 5 minutes, with your voice if you turn the microphone on. Or capture a screenshot and mark it up with arrows, boxes, text and blur.

  3. 03

    Share one link

Paste it into your ticket. Developers get the video with console, network and steps in sync.

What gets recorded

Everything a developer asks for, attached.

Console
Every log, warning and error, with stack traces, timed to the video.
Network
Each request with method, status, timing, headers and text bodies.
Steps
Clicks, inputs and page changes, ready to copy into a ticket as numbered steps.
Errors
Uncaught exceptions, rejected promises and resources that failed to load.
Environment
Browser, OS, screen and viewport size, language and connection.

Record the current tab, a window or the whole screen. Screenshots carry the logs too: the extension keeps the last two minutes of console and network activity, so even a screenshot shows what led up to the bug.

Passwords, tokens and card numbers are redacted in your browser before anything is uploaded.

What we left out

Nothing you pay for and never use.

  • AI summaries and transcripts
  • Video editing and effects
  • Webcam bubble
  • Surveys and feedback widgets
  • Analytics dashboards and heatmaps
  • Session replay of your end users
  • Integrations to set up and maintain

Fewer features means a lower price, and a tool your whole team can learn in a minute.

How it stacks up, honestly.

Other tools do more. If you need AI summaries, a client feedback widget or twenty integrations, they are worth the price. If you need clear bug reports from the whole team, this is the cheaper way.

Privacy and security

Secrets never leave the browser.

Redacted before upload

Authorization headers, cookies, tokens, passwords and card numbers are replaced with [REDACTED] in your browser. Input values are never recorded.

Your own rules

Add header names, field names and patterns to redact for your workspace, or mark elements in your app with data-reproclip-mask.

You decide what is kept

Paid plans keep recordings until you delete them; on Free, videos and screenshots are deleted after 60 days. Deleting your account removes your workspaces and their recordings.

Private by default

Files are stored privately and served through links that expire after 15 minutes. Share links can be limited to your workspace or revoked at any time.

Servers and recordings are stored in the EU. Read the privacy policy and the data processing addendum.

Works with your tracker

Nothing to connect.

Every report is one link, and its steps copy as numbered text. Paste them into Jira, Linear, GitHub, Slack or an email. No integration to install, no permissions to grant.

Questions

Before you install.

What counts as a video?

Each video recording you save to a workspace. Screenshots never count, and a recording you discard on the preview page does not either. Free also includes a separate allowance of screenshots each month.

What happens when we run out of videos?

You can still take screenshots. To save more videos this month, top up any amount from $5 (10 videos per dollar) or move to a bigger plan; Pro has no monthly limit. The monthly allowance resets each month.

What does unlimited mean?

Unlimited users, screenshots on paid plans and, on Pro, videos are for reporting bugs under fair use: invite the people who report bugs for you; each person can save up to 60 videos and 60 screenshots an hour, and a workspace keeps files up to its plan's storage. Nobody reaches that by hand. If a workspace's usage looks automated or unrelated to bug reports, we contact the owner before changing anything.

Does the extension read every site I visit?

It keeps a rolling two-minute buffer of console and network activity in the tab you are looking at, so a report can show what happened just before you pressed record. That buffer stays in your browser and is thrown away unless you save a recording or screenshot; a tab in the background keeps nothing.

How long are recordings kept?

On a paid plan, until you delete them, within the plan's storage (Starter 50 GB, Team 150 GB, Pro 1000 GB). When storage is full, new recordings wait until you delete old ones or upgrade; nothing is deleted for you. On Free, videos and screenshots are deleted 60 days after they are made; their logs and steps stay. If a paid plan ends, the same 60 days start that day.

What if we stop paying?

Cancel any time from the billing page. Your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for. After that, videos and screenshots are deleted 60 days later unless you subscribe again; logs and steps stay longer, and we email you a week before.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Recordings are only shown to the people you share them with.

Your next bug report takes one click.
