Alternative to Jam

The Jam alternative when the whole team reports.

Jam made instant bug recordings normal. We took that idea and priced it for teams: every recording carries console logs, network requests and user actions, and you pay per video — never per seat. For a team of ten that is $17 a month instead of $140 — and the parts below say where Jam still wins.

Why teams switch from Jam

  • The seat math. Jam charges per creator. A team of ten costs $140 a month billed yearly; ReproClip's Team plan is about $17 a month for the same ten people — and anyone beyond ten is still free.
  • Recording length. Jam caps recordings at 5 minutes free and 15 paid. ReproClip records up to 5 minutes on every plan, including the free one.
  • Redaction on by default. Auth headers, cookies, tokens, passwords and card numbers are stripped in the network and console data before anything leaves the browser. On every plan, not a higher tier.
  • No setup to drift out of date. A ReproClip report is a link: video, logs and repro steps in one page. Jam's 23 integrations are genuinely useful — if someone maintains them.

Where Jam is ahead, honestly

  • AI summaries and debugging help attached to each replay.
  • A native Mac app beside the browser extension.
  • Recording links for customers: people without the extension can record a session and hand you the result.

Questions we get about switching

Do my reporters need accounts?

No. Sign in with Google or GitHub once as the workspace owner, invite the team, and everyone who records does so into the shared allowance. Viewers of a shared report never need an account at all.

What happens to old Jam links?

Nothing — they keep working. ReproClip is a separate tool; there is no migration path because reports are self-contained links in both tools.

Is there a free plan?

Yes: 20 videos and 50 screenshots a month, unlimited users, no card.
